We have a girl!!!!!! Enya Carelse!!!!! Mommy is sooo in love with you and Mommy cant wait to just meet you and hold you in my arms!!!! All your kicking and moving around in my tummy is the greatest feeling in the world!!!! Cant wait to have you in my arms my little angel girl!!!! Daddy worked this whole weekend and painted your room for you!!! It is looking soooo pretty, you are going to love it!!!! We love u angel!!!

Well, we went for our 16 weeks scan on the 5th of may, mommy had drank a little too much water and was ready to scream when we got to the sonar appointment. The lady said that the doc is a little behind schedule but they will put me in right away! The doc was really nice and you have grown so big my little angel, from head to bud you were a whole 106 mm and we heard your little heartbeat for the first time at 153 bpm. Your estimated weight was at 149 grams. We could not see if you are a girl or a boy, because doc said you were too small to see now, but he's best guess is that you are a girly, so we will have that confirmed at our next app on the 1st of june. We love you our little cute baby!!!

Daddy bought you the nicest bath, you are going to love it!!! He is so exited about you and he loves you so much already!!! Daddy just want to give you the best of everything!!! We love you little baby!!!

My Last day at work

Well, today is the last day I will be working. I am so exited!! I dont really like this job and am so relieved to finally be on the last day!!! Jippeee!!!

I got up this morning and wow, my tummy has grown overnight!!! LOL, its actually scary that my tummy can grow so quickly!!!

This is my tummy at 15 weeks and 2 days!!

At the looks of my tummy I think when we go for our 16 week scan on the 5th of May, this baby will be a lot bigger than the last time, sjoe!!!! Cant wait to see our little angel!!!

My pregnancy journey so far

We were trying for a baby, and you would think that if you are trying for a baby, then a positive pregnancy test will not shock you at all? Wrong. It wasnt time to test yet, but I had an itch in my bud to buy a home pregnancy test and do it, cause I could feel that my body feels different. This was on the 10th of February 2009. Now Hubby and I was sitting watching 7de Laan as usual. After 7de Laan I got up and did the test. At first we saw only one line. So I placed the test on the kitchen counter and waited 5 minutes. Well well well, when I picked up the test I saw the faint second line! I was so shocked and exited and just amazed all at once. I started screaming and Hubby came running! He took the test and looked at it. He then just suddenly started laughing! Ok, so in shock and all we jumped in the car and drove to the pharmacy and bought 2 more tests. I did one again before going to bed and voila, again 2 lines. The next morning I did the other one and jip, I was pregnant!!!

Then went to doc 2 days later, firstly her tests didnt pick anything up, so off to bloodtests, a hour later the woman from the doctors calls me and tells me she was walking past the lab and took a look at the tests and she suddenly saw that there was two lines on both of them. Then the bloods called and its confirmed, I am pregnant, was about 4 weeks pregnant. What a blessing!!!

Then the morning sickness struck. Oh my word, it is the worse feeling!!! Throwing up at least 2 times a day, feeling just horrible no matter what I do!!! I felt like dying for the first 12 weeks, I was really sick!!!! Was sometimes crying because I feel so bad!!! The best way to describe the feeling is, it feels as if you have one HUGE hangover 24/7 without even drinking!!!!! It was BAD!!!

But now I am feeling really super!!! It really feels so much better now, I actually have energy and what a wonder, I can eat!!!! Whooohooo!!! My tummy is really getting big, and I am starting to struggle to tie my shoe's!!!! LOL, I cant really touch my feet anymore!!!!

I felt the baby move on the 24th of April 2009 for the first time, what an awesome feeling, like little butterfly wings flattering against your skin!!! I am so in love with this little baby!!!!

We also bought our pram this weekend. How exiting! Ok, now I am pretty much updated to where we are right now. It truly is a blessing to be pregnant! I thank Jesus each day for our precious baby!

A little about me

Well, where do I begin. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world! I love him with my whole heart!!! Right now I am 15 weeks and 1 day pregnant with his child and that makes me the happiest woman alive!!!!

I can just say that I love this baby sooo much and I cant wait to hold him/her!!! She/he is going to be the most beautiful baby in the world! We are going to the gender scan in 6 days time, cant wait to find out the gender of our baby!!! Mmmm, well I think this is it so far.
